Despite Clinton impeachment vote, Gingrich says President ‘cannot obstruct justice’

Gingrich states he told Trump it might cost him about $70 million to 80 million.

Additionally, Gingrich, who served as House Speaker during Bill Clinton’s presidency, commented on the state of health care in America, as Republicans are still struggling to complete their goal of repealing and replacing ObamaCare.

In testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee last week, Comey testified that Trump had asked him to drop his investigation into former national security adviser Michael Flynn before firing Comey.

Scarborough did not stop with just the accusation that Gingrich was spreading a conspiracy theory. Trump also nominated Gingrich’s wife, Callista (left), to be the ambassador to the Vatican.

“This is grotesque and fans the flames of rage among the unbalanced”, he wrote.

Scarborough switched to defending Robert Mueller in his next shot at Gingrich, noting that Mueller’s record of public service was beyond reproach. “I feel kind of bad, ‘” Gingrich said Trump admitted later. “OK, now the special counsel happens to be a close friend of Comey, which is weird”.

Gingrich also questioned the integrity of an investigation that involves special counsel Robert Mueller, but appeared to contradict himself on the investigation. “Media should now calm down”.

Still, the staunch Trump ally indicated he could sympathize with the president’s frustration.

Recently, with reports that Mueller is investigating Trump for obstruction of justice, Gingrich came out and said the president can not obstruct justice, despite voting to impeach Bill Clinton over obstruction of justice while in Congress.
