Strong Dutch presence at next week’s Davos meeting

Photo: Depositphotos.com There will be a strong Dutch presence at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2017 which opens next Tuesday in Davos, Switzerland. More than 3,000 government leaders, business chiefs and scientists from around the world will settle in the mountaintop town for the meeting which is noted for its secrecy. The theme this year is responsive and responsible leadership. Prime minister Mark Rutte will head the Dutch government delegation, the Telegraaf reported on Friday. Rutte will be accompanied by finance minister Jeroen Dijsselbloem, foreign trade and development aid minister Lilianne Ploumen, defence minister Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert and health minister Edith Schippers.
