Xiaomi Mi Note 2: Close Peek At OnePlus 3 Killer

In a leaked photo, Mi Note 2 sports a vertical dual camera setup on the back, and comes with dual-LED, dual tone flash on the right.

The highly anticipated Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has been in the rumor mill for a while now, and despite the lack of information from the Chinese tech manufacturer, industry observers have managed to gather several details about its development and release date. This claims that the image you see above is a leaked slide from Xiaomi’s presentation of the Mi Note 2.

Xiaomi Mi Note 2 smartphone is expected to be unveiled in Xiaomi’s scheduled event in China on October 25. No confirmation has been given from Xiaomi yet but it could come true considering that it has already been done by the Cupertino-based company. In a separate set of leaks, pictures of what is said to be Mi Note 2 has been revealed on social networking site Weibo. Surprisingly, according to the leak, the almost bezel-less display isn’t holding any camera unit or sensors, as seen on conventional smartphones, so it’ll be interesting to see whether we’ll get a front-facing selfie camera on the smartphone after all.

The smartphone packs 13MP rear camera with PDAF, 5MP front camera and houses 4100mAh battery.

The Mi Note 2 is rumoured to come in two versions: standard and pro. As per the Weibo post, the flexible curved display of Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will be manufactured by Samsung and LG in collaboration. Xioami has a reputation for producing premium phones that are sold fore less money than other devices with similar specs, such as the Mi 5 series.

The upcoming Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is expected to be quite expensive although it will have high-tech specifications. On another side, we have another flagship device which is Moto G4 and having a 5.5 inches IPS LCD display.

It is unclear if Xiaomi will bring the Mi Note 2 to India as the company does not usually bring high-end smartphones to the Indian market.

Xiaomi’s Rs 1 flash sale will commence at 2pm IST every day till the Diwali sale ends.

The device is expected to come in two variants – one with a 64GB internal memory and a 4GB RAM priced at 2,499 Yuan, and the other with a 128GB internal storage and a 6GB RAM priced at 2,799 Yuan.
