Donald Trump's Ivana Rape Allegations Turn Uglier As New Details Emerge About The 1989 Incident

The rape allegations surrounding Donald Trump could prove to be the final undoing of his presidential campaign. Sexual assault and rape accusations have dogged Trump lately, who has unsuccessfully tried to steer away from them by denying them completely. His campaign has questioned the credibility of the accusations thrown at him, insisting that the timing of the revelations by the women suggest that it is an attempt to smear Trump a couple of weeks before the general election. But, on the other hand, a case could be made that these women are only coming forward now because they are finally seeing a very real possibility of a man who assaulted them at some point in their lives becoming the next president of the United States. As The Inquisitr reported last week, 11 women have categorically stated that Donald Trump sexually assaulted them in the past, with one woman, only known to us as “Jane Doe,” having even filed a lawsuit in a New York court alleging that the Republican nominee raped her in 1994 when she was only 13-years-old. Ivana Trump, Donald Trump’s first wife, had stated under oath that he had raped her in the 1990 divorce disposition. The New Yorker recently dug up an extract from Trump’s biographer Harry Hurt’s book, “Lost Tycoon: The Many Lives of Donald J. Trump,” in which he described in detail about what happened on the night when Ivana was allegedly “raped” by Trump. According to Hurt, who had access to the court papers filed by Ivana Trump, the real estate mogul once violently tore her hair out and then forced himself on her sexually after undergoing a “painful scalp reduction” operation. “Trump was furious that a “scalp reduction” operation he’d undergone to eliminate a bald spot had been unexpectedly painful. Ivana had recommended the plastic surgeon. In retaliation, Hurt wrote, Trump yanked out a handful of his wife’s hair, and then forced himself on her sexually. Afterward, according to the book, she spent the night locked in a bedroom, crying; in the morning, Trump asked her, “with menacing casualness, ‘Does it hurt?’” While Trump denies that he ever raped Ivana or that he even underwent a “scalp reduction” operation, two of Ivana’s friends corroborated her statements back in 1990. On one occasion during 1989, Mr. Trump and I had marital relations in which he behaved very differently toward me than he had during our marriage. As a woman, I felt violated, as the love and tenderness, which he normally exhibited towards me, was absent. I referred to this as a ‘rape,’ but I do not want my words to be interpreted in a literal or criminal sense,” the Ivana Trump’s rape accusation statement read. NYers remember when Ivana Trump filed martial rape charges against @realDonaldTrump during their divorce. Do you remember? #trumptapes — Carole Radziwill (@CaroleRadziwill) October 9, 2016 Earlier this week, when Daily Beast attempted to confront Donald Trump’s attorney, Michael Cohen, about the description of events in Hurt’s book, the publication was threatened with dire legal consequences if the story was published. “You write a story that has Mr. Trump’s name in it, with the word ‘rape,’ and I’m going to mess your life up… for as long as you’re on this frickin’ planet… you’re going to have judgments against you, so much money, you’ll never know how to get out from underneath it,” Cohen told The Daily Beast. While it would be difficult to assess the incidents that led to Donald and Ivana Trump’s divorce in 1990, the sexual and rape allegations surrounding his campaign are getting nastier with every passing day.
