Unfortunately there’s no details just yet on the character Williams would be playing, but suffice to say it’s probably not the Han Solo/Omar team-up we’re suddenly dreaming of. We’ve now gathered news that The Wire’s Michael K Williams is also in discussions to star in the film. The confirmation post welcoming Williams to the Star Wars team doesn’t mention who the actor will be playing.Filming is already underway on the Lucasfilm production, which will see Alden Ehrenreich as the young nerfherder and Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian.
